Jay also currently serves as General Manager for Bridwell Ranches operating in the Panhandle and North Texas. Previous experience includes Area Cattle Manager for King Ranch Inc. in Kingsville. King Ranch responsibilities included purchasing and marketing for the stocker program, as well as special projects including the Cannonade Ranch purchase and serving on a management team that developed an integrated plan for wildlife, brush management, grazing of livestock and the development of natural resources. Jay currently holds an Executive Committee position on the Board of Directors for the National Ranching Heritage Center at Texas Tech University and is Chair of the Water Subcommittee for the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association.
